Read this with your contract

  • FIDIC 2017: notice 28 days and detailed claim 84 days from awareness. FIDIC 1999: notice 28 days and detailed claim 42 days. These are the general conditions.
  • Your particular conditions may change these periods, and Ethiopian public works contracts may follow different forms. Your contract decides; use “My own time limits” when it differs.
